Aging in place allows residents to remain in the comfort of their own suite while accessing additional support when needed. Whether it’s coordinating medical visits or arranging home care services, we’re here to help ensure every resident continues to live independently with dignity, safety, and peace of mind.
One of the key benefits of aging in place is the ability to receive cluster care, targeted support for daily living tasks provided by outside home care agencies. This allows your loved one to remain in the familiar, comfortable environment they’ve come to call home. When health needs change, we work closely with families and care providers to help coordinate the right services, ensuring a smooth transition and continued support.
Assistance for ADL's
Cavell Gardens is an independent living community, which means residents are responsible for managing their own health and personal care. While we do not have a nurse on staff for daily or ongoing care, our trained team members are available 24/7 to respond in the event of an emergency.

Residents are encouraged to stay in contact with their own physicians. To support this, Cavell Gardens partners with Mid Main Clinic to offer in-house doctor visits for added convenience and coordinated care. For occasional support like bathing or medication, our team can help connect you with Vancouver Coastal Health or private home care providers. Please note that these services are optional and would be arranged separately, with costs in addition to your monthly suite fee.

Respite Stays
Cavell Gardens also offers short and long-term respite stays for individuals who may need temporary support or recovery time in a welcoming, home-like environment. Guests stay in fully furnished suites equipped with cable TV and enjoy access to all of our services, including meals, housekeeping, and 24/7 staff support. If any personal care is required during the stay, it must be coordinated through Vancouver Coastal Health or a private home support agency.
Daily rate: $175.00.
